Claudio Palacios has been practicing the
ancient Chinese martial art of Tai Chi Chuan (Tai Ji Quan) and Chi Kung (Qi
Gong) since 1978.
He studied with several Masters, among the most
renowned:
Master Yang Jun. Sixth generation of the Yang family
and president of the International Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan Association.
Grand Master Yang Zhen Duo. Fourth generation of the
Yang family, He is the son of the Grand Master Yang Cheng Fu and great
grandson of the Grand Master Yang Lu Chan. He is the president of the Traditional
Tai Chi Chuan of Shanxi, China Association, representing the Yang style
throughout the world.
Grand Master Chen Xiao Wang. Nineteenth generation of
the Chen family that created the first style of Tai Chi Chuan, and is the
grandson of the Grand Master Chen Fa Ke. He represents the Chen style
throughout the world. Palacios is his longest standing student
in Argentina.
Claudio Palacios has taught Tai Chi Chuan
and Chi Kung throughout Latin America and the world, including: Argentina,
Brazil, Italy, Sweden, and the United States.
He is the director of the Yang Cheng Fu Tai Chi Chuan
Center of Argentina and this country’s exclusive official representative
of the Yang family who created the Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan, the most
widely known and practiced style the world over.
Palacios has been featured three times on the cover
of specialized magazines in Argentina, and has given an extensive number
of interviews to the news and broadcast media, in Argentina and abroad.
Palacios has also written innumerable articles for journals and newspapers
on the subject.
He is an International judge for Tai Chi Chuan.
